Terry L. Goddard Jr. is a senior associate with the law firm Skeen & Kauffman in Baltimore, Maryland. Terry heads the firm's Bankruptcy Practice Group and has over 10 years of legal experience representing clients in a variety of legal areas. Since 2007, Terry has assisted consumer and small business clients with filing for protection under the bankruptcy code. Terry manages the firm's southern Maryland office in Great Mills, Maryland. In 1998 Terry graduated from The George Washington University earning a B.A. in Political Science. Terry earned his Juris Doctor from American University's Washington College of Law in 2002 where he participated in moot court and was an editorial member of the Journal of Gender, Social Policy, and the Law. Following graduation, Terry served as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable Andrew Sonner, Associate Judge, Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Following his term as a law clerk, Terry and his family moved to Arizona where he served 4 years as a prosecutor with the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. In 2005 Terry returned to school and earned his Masters in Business Administration from Arizona State University's W.P. Carey School of Business. In July 2007 Terry entered private practice and assisted clients with criminal defense, general civil litigation, and bankruptcy protection. In early 2010 Terry and his family returned to the east coast and in November of 2010 Terry joined Skeen and Kauffman.

Terry has been admitted to the practice of law in Maryland since 2002. During his legal career Terry has gained a broad base of knowledge that allows him to assist his clients efficiently and successfully navigate the trials and anxiety of legal proceedings.
